You told me I had changed
You didn’t like this side of me
And I wanted to tell you
This was all along me
But some things
Are better left unsaid
Where ignorance is bliss
I’ll draw my line of belief
Until now
I don’t know if I hate
Or I pity you
Hate because you ran the moment
You saw what you didn’t like
Pity because you keep running
You miss out on the greater things in life
How do I ever start to mend
The remains you left me in
When every time I think of you
My heart breaks again and again?

It’s not as easy as giving a heart to the Tin Woodman; you cannot possibly a expect a “sorry” to make the cut.

” I think you are wrong to want a heart. It makes most people unhappy. If you only knew it, you are in luck not to have a heart. ” – The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, L. Frank Baum
