Promises

|| Verb ||

I told you once not to make promises if you can’t keep them, because long ago someone broke my heart together with the promise he made. I still remember all the promises you promised to keep that hasn’t been broken, but hasn’t been kept too. And I wonder when you first made them, whether you had intended to keep them like you said you would. Now I’ll never know.
