|| Noun ||

I’ll be your torchlight, to light your way home. Where I’ll cover you in blankets and warm hugs and kisses, and make sure you’ll never have to waste your tears again. I wish I could do that, but you won’t let me. I was once your torchlight, you depended on me like I was your lifeline. You were dying after your last breakup, and I was there when you find yourself unable to sleep at 3am in the morning. Then I ran out of batteries and you didn’t bother to find new ones, so you went out to find a brand new one to help light up your world. I was left abandoned, wondering whether anybody would find some use in me again.
